Hình ảnh
Cookie Cake made three ways! Includes recipes for chocolate chip, chocolate, and funfetti sugar cookie cakes. For the ultimate celebration make all three decadent versions! These recipes are inspired by my ever so popular edible cookie dough recipes (without raw eggs or flour), check them out here ! Homemade Cookie Cakes When I set out to create this recipe I was originally just going to go with the classic chocolate chip cake. But of course I couldn't stop there because who doesn't love multiple options? The chocolate chip version is chewy and buttery and tastes just like a classic chocolate chip cookie with a chocolate frosting upgrade swirling around the edges. If you are a chocolate fan the double chocolate cookie cake is for you. It's made with rich Dutch cocoa, has a tempting fudgy texture and it's not just made with a chocolate base. It's also dotted with chocolate chips and finished with a decadent chocolate frosting. And if you are a chewy and sweet

How to Make Almond Milk

Hình ảnh
Homemade Almond Milk is so easy to make! It doesn't require many ingredients, it tastes so much fresher, and in my opinion it has more of a pure almond flavor than store bought. You'll be savoring every sip! Fresh Made Almond Milk Making this DIY almond milk is easily the superior version of almond milks. It actually tastes quite different from store-bought versions because it's just so good! I was completely surprised myself the first time I made it. This homemade variations doesn't included additives such as thickeners like added guar or gellan gums (which to some can cause stomach upset), and the almond flavor here just comes from the almonds not added flavor. I would suspect there's a greater ratio of almonds used in this almond milk vs. factory processed as well (though I have no way of proving this, I'm giving that judgment based on taste alone). Isn't making things from scratch and that bit of self sufficiency involved with it just such a gratif

Glazed Carrots

Hình ảnh
Quick and easy Glazed Carrots - Made with fresh sliced carrots, sweet brown sugar or honey and a few dabs of rich butter. This recipe is proof that it doesn't take much to upgrade a simple vegetable and make it beautifully shine, both in taste and presentation! Sweet Brown Sugar or Honey Glazed Carrots You may find these are reminiscent of sweet potatoes but with a fraction of the time effort! And you only need 5 ingredients (plus salt and pepper). Carrots are sliced on a biased, steamed in a skillet until nearly tender, then sautéed with butter and brown sugar or honey. It's a simple method that has plenty of leeway for adaptations (variations I'd recommend are adding spices, tossing in dried nuts or dried cranberries, and finishing with other herbs such as chives or dill). You'll find it to be a quick go-to side dish that will compliment so many of your favorite entrees, they may even take center stage for favorite item on the dinner plate. Even kids will love

Baked Honey Mustard Chicken

Baked Honey Mustard Chicken - Made with lean chicken breasts, a sweet tangy sauce blend of sweet honey and a trio of vibrant mustards, and it's infused with caramelized onion, garlic and rosemary for more depth. It's simple yet so flavorful!  Baked Honey Mustard Chicken Recipe You can have this Honey Mustard Chicken on the table in under 45 minutes! And there's minimal hands on prep work since it's baked, no tending to the chicken in a skillet. I think you'll love the multi-dimensional depth of flavor this easy chicken recipe has, and the slight texture from the coarsely ground mustard. It keeps things deliciously interesting. I recommend serving it with brown rice or white rice, or fresh cooked noodles tossed with butter, along with a vibrant green steamed vegetable such as broccoli, asparagus or green beans. All making this an easy balanced meal. from Cooking Classy

Sautéed Green Beans

Hình ảnh
Sautéed  Green Beans - These green beans are tender crisp, deliciously buttery and highlighted with flavors of caramelized shallots and sautéed garlic. It's the perfect way to upgrade a simple fresh vegetable.  Sautéing Green Beans I think for many the go to ways to cook green beans are to boil, steam and roast them. But after trying this simple skillet method though you'll probably realize sautéing green beans hasn't gotten the attention and praise it deserves. I'd say it's easily one of the best ways to make them! Once you try them you may likely be thinking "who knew green beans could be so good?" And you can have them ready in under 15 minutes! Even the kids might come to enjoy "those green things" on their plate rather than turning their noses to another vegetable. It's amazing what that lightly browned flavor of sautéing can do, along with a hint of butter. This is such a tasty way to upgrade to fresh green beans! from Cooking

Smothered BLT Chicken

Hình ảnh
Smothered BLT Chicken - Beautifully browned pan seared chicken breasts are blanketed with a flavorful sauce that's generous with bacon, fresh tomatoes and spinach. There's even cream and parmesan for a rich upgrade. It's undeniably delicious! The BEST Smothered Chicken While this may not be a traditional smothered chicken like you'll find in the South, this is my idea of something even better! It's easy to prepare and it has the most delicious blend of fresh flavors. It's like a BLT sandwich transformed into a crave-able chicken dish. One change here however is that we do substitute spinach for the traditional lettuce, the "L" of BLT. This is because lettuce wouldn't hold up well to cooking and doesn't have near as much flavor as spinach. Soggy lettuce, no thanks. I'm nearly certain this is one of those entrees that will wow your family and friends. That's basically a given right? Because it includes bacon! I recommend pairing t

They are a cookie similar to oatmeal cookies as they include oats but what makes them unique is that they also include additions of shredded coconut, chocolate chips, pecans and cinnamon. Some say they were created and attained their name in being a a good pack along cookie that held up well in a saddlebag, while others believe they originated in Texas and are named after the cowboys. What's not to love about these highly textural
